Complete conjugation tables for GCSE and A-Level Spanish. Every verb across all 13 tenses and 6 persons, with example sentences, common mistakes and free typed practice.
Practice any verb free →This is the complete index of Spanish verbs covered by Practicar Verbos — the same verbs GCSE and A-Level students are expected to know. Each verb has its own page with a full conjugation table for every tense, the six subject pronouns, hand-checked example sentences, the common phrases and mistakes examiners look for, and a free practice tool that tests you from memory rather than letting you read the answers.
Spanish verbs fall into three families by their infinitive ending: -ar (66 verbs here), -er (32) and -ir (30). If you learn the ending patterns for one family, you can conjugate every regular verb in it — which is why this page and the practice tool work so well together.
These eight verbs appear in almost every GCSE and A-Level task. Get these right and the rest is much easier.
Irregular verbs don't follow the standard endings, so their forms have to be memorised. These are the ones that come up most often in UK exam papers — click through for the full tables and the patterns to watch for.
Every regular verb behaves like one of these three models. hablar is the -ar model, comer the -er model, vivir the -ir model. Learn their endings and you can conjugate the whole regular family.

Every verb on this page is checked against the published vocabulary lists of the UK GCSE exam boards. If you know which specification you're sitting, start there — each guide lists the exact verbs that board requires, with the same full conjugation tables and practice.
Don't just read the tables — that builds recognition, not recall, and exam questions demand recall. Use each verb page's practice tool to type the forms from memory, then check. Start with the irregular verbs above, then work through the regular families once you can produce the -ar, -er and -ir endings without pausing.
